Our knowledge came to us by my mentor working for a Portugal immigrant in San Francisco who had couture dress shops selling to Rod Stewart, then got involved in antiques and ultimately having one of the finest antique galleries in San Francisco and the nation. There were 6 foot Baccarat chandeliers among crates of massive Chinese antiques coming in from all over the world. The guy he worked for was William Silva my mentor would drive his Rolls around and help with the estate which was on the water in Tiburon with a view of the San Francisco bay, in the front yard overlooking the bay were nothing but Roman antiquities statues. The other antique dealer in San Francisco who was my mentor was Girald Silvar, one of San Francisco’s more stately, who had another knock out antique gallery with things like specimen marble and pieces from court appointed ebonist (cabinet makers the the king of France) and also managed to get a Faberge sterling and crystal life size sturgeon that La zar used to fill with caviar, which was on loan to the Louver among the Malcolm Forbes, Windsor, Margery Post collection of Faberge? Inlay selling our best pieces to some of the most respected dealers in the industry who got there start at the Hearst Castle in the fifties. Can you imagine if these guys were into Depression glass? Where would I be today?

Interior Design

• We offer a "Recent Acquisition" e-mail list that notifies you of upcoming modern mid century pieces as well as decorative arts and pieces from the 19th century, 18th century, 17th century French, Italian, Neo-classic Italian and all other Continental antiques as well as fine Japanese antiques and Chinese antiques and more.

Antique Appraisals

• We offer antique appraisals for your antiques and fine art appraisals. We evaluate them using fair market, replacement and insurance values. Fee is $175.00 an hour. It is no problem to hop on a jet and have a look at your items or via e-mail

Photography
